This Cookie Policy explains what cookies and similar technologies zhithera.shop uses, what each one is for, and how you can control them. It sits alongside our Privacy Policy, which covers personal information more broadly.
1. What cookies are
A cookie is a small text file placed on your device when you visit a website. It lets the site remember things between pages and between visits — for example what is in your cart, or which language you chose.
We also use related technologies such as local storage and tracking pixels. For simplicity we refer to all of them as "cookies" in this policy.
First-party cookies are set by zhithera.shop. Third-party cookies are set by another company whose service we use, such as a payment or analytics provider.
2. Categories we use
2.1 Strictly necessary
These make the shop work. Without them you could not stay logged in, keep items in a cart, or check out. They cannot be switched off through our site.

2.3 Analytics
These tell us which pages are read, which products are viewed, and where visitors run into trouble. We use them to improve the shop, not to build advertising profiles.

2.4 Marketing and attribution
These help us measure whether our campaigns reach the right audience, and credit partners for referred orders. They may be used by the provider to show you Zhithera adverts elsewhere.

3. What we do not do
- We do not sell the data collected through cookies.
- We do not use cookies to infer health conditions, and we do not target advertising on that basis. Zhithera products are home-fragrance products, not medical devices.
- We do not use cookies to collect special category data as defined by the GDPR.
4. Managing cookies
4.1 In your browser
Every major browser lets you see the cookies stored, delete them, and block new ones. The controls are usually under Settings → Privacy. Blocking strictly necessary cookies will stop the cart and checkout from working.

4.2 Opting out of analytics and advertising
- Google Analytics — the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on.
- Meta, Pinterest and similar platforms — the ad preference controls in your account on each platform.
- Most browsers also offer a "Do Not Track" or global privacy control signal, which we honour where it is technically supported.
4.3 Withdrawing consent
Where we rely on your consent to set non-essential cookies, you can withdraw it at any time by clearing cookies for zhithera.shop in your browser and declining when asked again. Withdrawal does not affect data already collected.
5. How long cookies last
Session cookies are deleted when you close the browser. Persistent cookies stay until they expire or you delete them — typically from a few days for cart and preference cookies up to around two years for analytics and attribution cookies. Exact durations are set by each provider and may change.
6. Changes to this policy
We update this policy when we add, remove or change a service. The revised version takes effect when posted and the "last updated" date changes. The tables above describe the services in use at that date; a specific cookie may not be set on every visit, since some are only set at checkout or after you interact with a feature.
