Zhithera botanical essential oils are steam-distilled or cold-pressed from a single aromatic plant — flower, leaf, peel, root or wood — and bottled exactly as they come. No alcohol, no synthetic fragrance, no preservatives, no carrier oils, nothing animal-derived. Every bottle carries its botanical Latin name, plant part and country of origin, so you always know what you are diffusing.

Because there is no carrier oil to thicken them, these oils stay light enough to atomise directly in a Zhithera waterless diffuser — no water, no heat, no clogged mesh. A filled 6.5 mL reservoir runs about two days on the lowest setting, so a 10 mL bottle goes a long way.

Three of our editions — Virginian Cedar, South African Geranium and Indian Oud — are blended with a natural diluent chosen for atomising rather than a carrier oil. We say so on the label, together with how much essential oil each one contains.
