Private Label Waterless Diffusers and Custom Scents: How OEM with Zhithera Works

Hotel groups, retailers, distributors and brands often want waterless diffusers and oils under their own name rather than ours. Zhithera produces private-label versions of its diffusers and oils, and develops custom scents for partners who want a signature of their own. This guide sets out what can be customized, the minimum quantities, how sampling and production work, how long each stage takes, and how to start.

What you can put your name on

The products are the same ones we sell under the Zhithera name, built around Advanced Micro-Mesh Atomization: a fine vibrating mesh turns undiluted oil into a dry mist with no water and no heat.

• D1 diffuser: a 6-series aircraft aluminum body with low, medium and high continuous output, sitting on a 3500 mAh charging dock that doubles as a power bank. Measured maximum coverage is about 380 square meters on high continuous with fragrance oil.
• D1 mini: about 35 g, with three intermittent modes including an in-car motion-sensing mode, a magnetic in-car mount and a one-second magnetic cartridge swap.
• Essential oils: 10 ml botanical essential oils, pure single oils and blends made with a natural atomization solvent rather than a carrier oil.
• Fragrance oils: 100 ml designer fragrance oils, custom-formulated for Zhithera, which hold longer and suit larger rooms and hospitality spaces.

Both devices share the same 6.5 ml refillable cartridge and run both oil lines, so a private-label range can pair any device with any oil.

What can be customized

• Logo: your brand mark on the product. Placement is confirmed during sampling.
• Packaging: your own packaging design for devices and oils.
• Custom scent: a scent developed for your brand, hotel or space, in place of a scent from our range.

The device body, mesh technology, cartridge and modes stay as standard, and device bodies come in our existing colorways. Keeping the hardware standard is what keeps quality, documentation and lead times predictable.

Minimum order quantities

How sampling and production work

1. Brief. Tell us your brand, your market, the products you want, your packaging and logo needs, whether you want a custom scent, and the quantities you have in mind.
2. Proposal and quote. We confirm what is possible and quote for your quantities.
3. Sampling, about 15 days. We produce samples with your logo, packaging and scent so you can check them in hand. The sample fee depends on quantity and is refunded once you place the bulk order.
4. Order. You approve the samples and place the order; your PO number is carried through to the order confirmation and invoice.
5. Production, 25 working days. Bulk production follows the approved samples.
6. Dispatch. Orders ship from Hong Kong or the United States, with documentation for your shipment.

For planning, add the two fixed stages, about 15 days of sampling and 25 working days of production, to the time you take to review samples and the transit time to your market.

Quality and documentation

Procurement and compliance teams usually need paperwork before a launch. The hardware carries CE compliance with RoHS and REACH, KC and CB certification, and IEC 60335 and IEC 62133 testing, and the batteries meet air-transport lithium battery requirements. Zhithera also holds a BSCI audit report and GMP and heavy-metal testing records. Our fragrance oils are formulated to IFRA standards, our essential oils are produced in an FDA-registered facility, and Safety Data Sheets are available for the oils. Diffuser bodies and the D1 charging dock carry a 12-month warranty against faults that are not user-caused. Cartridges, including the atomizing mesh, are consumables and should be replaced about every five refills, which is worth building into your refill and accessory range.

Exclusivity by market

Partners often ask whether they can hold exclusive rights in their country. We assess this market by market: whether exclusivity is available depends on how many distribution partners we already work with in that country. Tell us your territory in your brief and we will say plainly what is possible there.
