The side-by-side diffuser model comparison and tech specs you need depends on room size, power setup and how often you want to swap scent. D1 and D1 Mini share the same 6.5 ml cartridge and waterless micro-mesh atomization, but differ in body, dock power and output control.

The D1 uses a 6-series aircraft aluminum body and sits on a 3500 mAh charging dock that powers the unit and doubles as a power bank. Power input is Type-C 5V/2.4A with pogo-pin output 5V at 0.75A, diffusing current about 300 mA and standby draw under 50 uA. The dock draws about 12 W when charging and the diffusing draw is about 1.5 W.
The D1 Mini has an engineering plastic body with a one-second magnetic cartridge swap and a magnetic in-car mount. It uses the same 6.5 ml refillable cartridge as the D1 and the same waterless heat-free micro-mesh atomization. The D1 waterless diffuser is suited to a fixed station, while the D1 Mini diffuser is built for portable use.
D1 offers low, medium and high continuous output modes. Measured oil consumption is 0.14 ml per hour on low intermittent, 0.87 ml per hour on medium and 4.3 ml per hour on high continuous. At those rates one full 6.5 ml cartridge lasts about 46.5 hours on low, which is roughly two days, about 7.5 hours on medium and about 1.5 hours on high continuous.
D1 Mini runs three modes. Mode 1 mists for 10 seconds every 5 minutes, mode 2 mists for 15 seconds every minute and mode 3 is in-car motion sensing that wakes on vibration and mists for 5 seconds every 2 minutes. Both models use micro-porous vibrating mesh atomization and the refillable cartridges are interchangeable between them.
Coverage and oil choice change how the scent holds in a space. The following guide pairs room size with setting and oil type.

Both models share materials FVMQ, PP, AL6063 and COC and operate from 5 to 40 degrees Celsius with humidity 10 to 80 percent RH and ingress rating IPX1. Hardware is rated for use at 2000 m altitude and below in non-tropical climates.
D1 is dock powered with continuous output control and aluminum construction. D1 Mini is portable with magnetic mount and motion sensing for car use. Both accept the same cartridge and run waterless heat-free atomization. Replacing the cartridge about every five refills helps keep mist output consistent.
Pure botanical essential oils are small-molecule and disperse quickly, and the scent fades quickly because nothing is added to fix it. They suit close-range use in small and mid-sized rooms such as a bedroom, study, car or reading corner. The botanical essential oils are a small-and-close choice.
Designer fragrance oils come in 100 ml in four scents formulated by Givaudan. They hold longer, stay consistent between batches and support larger rooms and hospitality use. The fragrance oils are the large-space, long-hold choice, while botanical oils are the small-and-close choice. One device runs both.
Yes. The D1 Mini has a magnetic in-car mount and mode 3 motion sensing that wakes on vibration and mists for 5 seconds every 2 minutes. It uses the same 6.5 ml cartridge as the D1 and runs waterless micro-mesh atomization.
On the D1 low intermittent setting consumption is about 0.14 ml per hour, so a full 6.5 ml cartridge lasts about 46.5 hours, roughly two days of continuous low use. Actual runtime varies with setting, room conditions and oil viscosity.
Yes. Both D1 and D1 Mini use the same 6.5 ml refillable cartridge with a magnetic swap. The cartridge is a consumable and the atomizing mesh is not covered under warranty once used.
The measured maximum coverage for D1 running high continuous output with fragrance oil is about 380 square meters, about 4,090 sq ft. Actual coverage varies with ceiling height, ventilation, partitions and open windows.
The D1 charging dock is 3500 mAh and powers the unit via pogo-pin 5V at 0.75A. Power input is Type-C 5V/2.4A, diffusing current about 300 mA and standby draw under 50 uA.
